    I bought my used truck with a second light cord too...most likely this one I have powered a lift axle.
    But 12V is 12V...you can use it for whatever you please back there. Dump valves to strobe lights, to....? Especially if it's a multiple pin plug like I have.
     
  5. @Hurst I had an old dump solenoid , changed it out on my spread axle 48' flat.


    Ran a hot wire to the solenoid then piggybacked pigtail to dash. With lit, toggle switch.

    Not real fancy. But helps like @catalinaflyer and @MJ1657 _said.

    Don't run with it deflated. Use it when in truckstop. Even with yours being low to ground. It will help you save that axle from buying tires every year.

    Practice using it. Even empty will prevent undo tire rubbing when turning.

    Last year I increased the life of my axle tires by 50k miles. With a dump valve working this time. LOL
