Got a 2013 D13, I had a check engine fault code that come on after 5-6 hours of driving then stay on the rest of the day. After 10 hours shut down the motor, the code is gone when start up but will come back on again after couple hours of driving. The code is "SA 0 SPN 4334 FMI1". Thank you.

Couple things to check. Didbyou just have new batteries did they hook up the ACM power wire. Is the fuse blown. Are you somewhere cold where the def froze. Can you hear the def pump power up when you turn the key on and cycle back down when you shut the key off. Attached is what the code is for and most likely cause

Dave i have a really good head scratcher for you, I have a truck here its an 05 d12d with an electric fan clutch. The owner of the vehicle tried to change the batteries and screwed up and connected it backwards cooking every single ecm on the truck, anyway everything is replaced but the problem is that the engine ecm is one from an air operated fan clutch, this guy has been all over the place and i was the one to figure out that the ecm is messed up. once i put a spare ecm with electric fan everything is working properly. So my question to you is it possible to program fan on d12d from air to electric everyone i know around here its sayin its impossible im thinking there is got to be a way of doing it the only problem is i don't have this access. Any ideas if possible or no.

Do you have dealer level vcads? Might try to reflash ecu. If it comes up as a data mismatch in vcads you might not have a choice. Might have to replace with new. We have reflashed some with mixed results. Some work some don't. If you can't use reprogram with existing software in vcads because of the vin you can try replace hardware and try that. Definitely want to use vcads one for this as vcads 2 takes a lot of options away. If you can get the vin to enter you should be able to program in the parameters manually. If none of this works gonna have to have the owner dust off his wallet and breakout for a new ecm or at least swap for one with the correct parameters already programmed. I know there are conversion kit numbers for electric going to air but I'm not sure about air going to electric. I will post tomorrow with what I find. Is he throwing a code for the fan? If you can use the existing wiring and convert to an air solenoid to air fan clutch he might be a happier camper those electric units are pigs.

I didn't touch the batteries, I was coming out from California and it was around mid 40s when it happened. I can hear the pump working when turning the key as well.
