Oh I know and that is why I was on this thread asking questions. because I have offers from other carriers as well. I won't work for carriers like Swift Cr England Prime Werner. Those are companies I did not apply too those companies not so much about cameras but more about size... While I do not like driver facing cameras I am not going to allow it to limit me either. If everything was equal between 2 companies I would choose the 1 that did not have a driver facing camera.. Actually I initially did that and was going to System trans in Washington. But with the calls letters and interest that TransAm has shown in having me become a driver made me reconsider. Also coming to the realization (from advice ) that the company I start with is more than likly not going to be the company I retire from.. I also am going to lease so I had to factor that in and I have gotten copies of the blank lease agreements from the companies I was considering which some did not have lease options.. So that is why I have selected Trans Am..
So your going to TransAm on the 9th? -
My understanding dennisroc as I was told today by a current lease op that your rider as long as they are approved can start riding once you are assigned your truck after training. Now i did not ask if that was company and lease drivers or just lease but I will ask him next time I talk to him..dennisroc Thanks this.

It has been too long, dennisroc and I don't remember....but it seems to me that there was a waiting period for a rider if you were a company driver. It wasn't very long and they may have changed it by now so that you don't have to wait.
dennisroc Thanks this. -
Again, HTQ has it right. I don't think their is an official waiting period for a rider, since it is not in the policy, but at orientation, it is mentioned there is a lag in processing the paperwork, so your passenger my have to wait a short time before they can ride along.dennisroc and HometimeQueen Thank this.

Transam is the lowest paying lease deal out there.
Even lower than Swift which says something.
There's taking risk and there's being dumb. The math just isn't there at .84, no money there! -
I was just looking at 1 of the other companies lease program. They are offering a % pay and also there lease if a lease purchase so at the end of the lease you own the truck. It is unique as they do not have a balloon payment to buy the truck it is factored into the lease payments it is a 4 year lease . Just wanted to see if there is a benefit to % pay over cpm ? The percentage is 65% of the gross revenue bill..

I'm at Schneider and grossed over $1000 yesterday on less than 250 miles doing 3 loads.
% is the way to go, mileage pay is a scam.scottlav46 and Big Papaxx Thank this.
