I hope I have a daughter some day. Just so I can take joy in terrorising little ####s like that when they come to the door.

Sounds like English is not his first language and it also sounds like he is not in this country at the moment.

Well when you turn 21 your record gets expunged and it's almost like another chance at life. So I suggest you clean yourself up,when you turn 18 start using your common sense and make the right decisions instead of the wrong ones. Last but not least listen to your parents kid. They've been there done that.

My best suggestion to you is. Stay In school major in something that will make, you money without sacrificing being with out your family for a long time so on and so fourth.. Trucking shouldn't be your first choice. And by the time you're 21 the laws will more than likely change for worse.

I'm about 12 or so years older than you. I was there not too long ago making mistakes getting arrested same as you selling weed and ectasy until I got arrested and got another chance at life to clean up. And I did for most part.

    Now it's your turn.

Crimes committed while still a "juvenile," if not felonies or habitual, aren't necessarily crippling for life. My juvenile records were sealed and expunged (erased). Any felonies or crimes where you are charged "as an adult" - and you don't have to be 18 to be charged as an adult, by the way - become part of a lifelong record that will destroy your chances of getting the best jobs in trucking.

College might be a good idea, but I have met a lot of truck drivers with MBA degrees and even law degrees who can't find work in their own fields. They are driving trucks just to pay off thousands of dollars in student loan debt! College is a trap! The cost of college has risen faster than any other commodity or service in the Western world! Faster than medicine, faster than energy. Post-secondary education, other than trade school, is the biggest rip-off in the history of ever.

trucking would be a great job if everybody didn't break the law on the roads 24-7. speeding cars!! speeding aggresive truckers!!! and texters!!! really tired of looking at every other driver with a cell phone in hand.

Spot on. I hit the trades at 18 and have been at it ever since. I have friends who spent 4-5 years getting degrees at 18. A lot of them are now working dead end jobs at minimum wage and living with their parents. Higher education seems like a complete joke to me.

It all depends on what your degree is in.....Art History? Yeah, not so much. Electrical Engineering? You can write your own ticket nowadays.
