Possible freight damage-advice needed

    yes, exactly what I was thinking in this case, this carrier kept giving us excuses and did not attempt to send another truck (they were b&b and the said they were watering them during this time, not sure how true is that) really unhappy with their performance and customer is just worried the receiver might use this as an excuse to claim some of the trees were damaged and not pay for them.
    contract states carrier is liable for all delays and any claims from the receiver if not delivered on time

    If you have a contract that states carrier is liable, why is your shipper worried? Do they not know about that clause of the contract? or is it a serious business account for the shipper and they don't want to risk losing that business?
