You'll notice a lot of the mega carriers that force team driving have drivers that can't maintain their lane. New hectic sleep schedule + stress makes for a bad combo. Be prepared when you see them and blow their doors off when you can

Why would u even think about honor lost if u called the cops on some idiot truck driver?you should have used that half hr watching him and called the police then.I dont know why you called this a pleasure.from now on u see an idiot driver use common since and call 911.as a concerned citizen that's the honorable thing to do.

    That settles it then.
Zero tolerance on the drifting idiots when I see them. Putting my problem drivers safely behind me just isn't good enough anymore.
    :Police car:

(And PattyJ: it was as much a pleasure as the 30 mile back up on the 5 was too.... Added three hours to my trip because I'm too stupid to take strategic rest periods)

I am not going to be nice about but you have a responbility to call the cops and get them involved. The honor that you think you could lose is lost when this idiot does kill someone and you could have stopped it.

I have called and this morning at 3am hauling injection molds to a customer west of here, I came up on a driver hauling a can swerving between the two lanes of the freeway, I and the guy who was behind me called the cops, he called the local cops and I called the state cops. We blocked the lanes so no one could get passed us and he hit them. They were quick to pull the idiot over and we stopped too - in our trucks. The cops arrested this idiot because he was so messed up he could not even give his name.

Am I concern what other truckers think?

Nope not at all, they don't put money in my pocket but I wish many of my fellow driver would act, not just sit there and justify it in their head.

I've called the safety department of one trucker. The guy tailgated me on US-97 in Washington, before passing me on a blind curve.

A few weeks ago I called 911 on a trucker westbound on I-70 in Ohio. I first saw him as he rushed up on my right, trying to pull the classic pass just before I passed another truck. I was in the middle of three lanes, going 70 mph overtaking a governed truck. He slammed on the brakes just before rear ending the mega truck.

He proceeded to squeeze in behind me, that rocket off ahead after I moved over. During the next 20 miles or so I saw him use his turn signal once, one blink, as he wandered across all three lanes and the right shoulder. When I called 911 they said they had already received numerous calls. Several of us gave an appreciative blast of our air horns as we passed the trooper walking up to his cab.

I would do what everyone has suggested and what I've done in the past, involve the PD.

I've been involved,as a four-wheeler, with at least four takedowns by the OSHP. 1 DUI, 1 medical emergency, and two weaving CMVs. I don't regret a single one. The trooper in the medical emergency called me back to thank me. The older woman was either having a stroke or some other event. I shudder to think what might have happened if I hadn't gotten her to the side of the road.

We are professionals, this ain't "Sons of Anarchy," and any code starts with "Be Responsible." My rule now that I'm in a truck is: you get a call out on the CB, no answer the next one is down the dial to OSHP.

Never sweat holding another professional accountable, if they won't do it for themselves.

I'm gathering he was on a divided highway with two lanes each way.

That said, the reason he did that was trying to keep his distance from the knucklehead in question in case he lane-drifted again.

I still want to know, why the op is worried about another driver, when he admitted to using left shoulder to pass. Come on people ,I can't be the only one concerned with his passing method.

Then he should have remained behind the driver. Everyone yelling safety at him on the radio should have clued him in.
