    Good afternoon all,
As you can see I am fairly new to the forum and am just getting back into driving after being out of it for 5 years or so. Have a CDL-A and mostly local driving experience, (i.e., flat bed for Alro Steel, Oilfield tractor-trailers, etc).
Currently I live in SW PA near Pittsburgh but my wife and I hope to move back to our place in Northern MI next spring. We have had about enough of big city living. lol
So, to my point, I have spoke with TMC and they are running my application and seem interested enough in my skill set but they have no lanes in the northern MI area. I could work there easily for now but in a few months it may be problematic. I see that Fraley is showing all of MI and WI colored in for their hiring area but before I call them, I wanted to see if anyone has any current info on the company. I find a lot about TMC and Maverick but most of this companies stuff is pretty dated.
Any info as far as pay and home time from drivers that have worked there recently or are still employed there would be awesome.

Thanks in advance for any help,

    Mark

So.....apparently no one from Fraley hangs out here? That is disappointing. :(

Try posting in the motor carriers section. Might have more luck there.

I am not in the Yoop as I see your profile says you are.
I am currently in SW PA but have a home in, and am from, Grayling, MI. I need to make somewhere in the area of $50K+/- per year. It might be possible to get that working for a local construction company hauling gravel train or lowboy but it looks a bit slow up there right now and thought I would get out OTR for a bit to get back in a truck.
But, beyond that, I was just looking for what F&S might have to offer a driver in comparison to TMC. I see a lot of TMC info but not much on the other.

You can make that with TMC being in SW PA, but there is not a lot there in upper MI. At one time they were not hiring drivers from upper MI due to the lack of freight in that area to get you home. Things may have changed I don't know.

    Toona67 and MJ1657 Thank this.

I will check on them in the spring. It turns out that I may need to stay in PA for the next few months. Reese is a little over a 100 miles south of me so it is a bit of a drive. When I get arrangements made to get back home, I will give them a shout and Northern Logistics out of Clare as well.

    thanks for the feedback

I don't think you would have to drive back and forth,I know they have drivers in NMI that park around there

    Toona67 Thanks this.
