I forgot nothing , I read your post , I'm sorry to have taken it literally , you did NOT , say that you were speaking of gross pay vs net pay. My bad. I'm thrilled you are in a job that makes you happy , and achieves your financial goals , you're a lucky guy , lots of folks can't make that claim.

I was lucky like that myself. Worked for GSF for over 30 years, retired in 2011 , when I retired I had a great bid run , ran 3 days a week Monday ( 12 / 13 hrs. ) Tuesday ( 8 hrs ) and Thursday the same route as Monday ( 12 / 13 hrs ) a long week was 34 hrs. Grossed close to 82,000 great job. Like I said my bad for not getting your point. I hope you continue to be blessed. Carry On , be safe. TTTD

so the ones that dont have perfect t spelling and punctuation qualities are trash?reason I'm not using caps and sect is because I'm using my phone . But when filling out apps I always use caps when needed commas periods.this is blue collar work recruiters could care less as long as its readable.also trk drivers that dont have the writing skills does not make them the bottom of the barrell truck drivers.

I do consider myself lucky also. Who knows what the future holds, If I never make more that 50-55K I am ok with that, of course if an opportunity to make more that fits in with my family schedule comes by I will take it. But to me as long as the bills are paid family comes before money. Im glad you achieved your goals, enjoy your retirement, at least 36 more years for me......

This time of the year some freight may be slow , others it will be their busiest time of year. This aweful economy IMHO is hurting freight more than anything.
