Never dealt with a leak before... 09 Volvo
On pretrip, I found these metal lines to be kind of burned, blistered, and leaking orange gooey fluid....
Is that burned coolant?

Looks like red coolant to my eye. First thing in the morning? Might be a cold water leak.
What is the sourceGiantBeard Thanks this. -
Where do the lines go to? That will probably answer your question. Only two fluids in the motor and this doesn't look like oil .
GiantBeard Thanks this. -
Your looking right at the source. Those two little metal lines are melted, or something.
It's seeping right out of the metal.
I'm just hoping it holds out until I get it to the shop. -
It's a leak all right. Check above the lines and see if there is something dripping up top. I see your post that came in while I was typing. Lots of duct tape might get you somewhere to get it fixed
GiantBeard Thanks this. -
It's the little metal hose. I inspected up and down, and it just seems to have gotten damaged somehow. Definitely coolant.
Theres a filter that is leaking coolant around the edges too, but it drips onto my suspension.
This is leaking directly from the sides of the metal hoses. -
The truck may have cut/off valves at filter thats leaking that can be turned off to stop the leak untill you make it back to co. shop?
-
Do not attempt to stop the leak by tampering with the steel line. It is most likely rusted through. The lines go to the cab and bunk heat, and sometimes a racor filter. There may be shut off valves on the engine looks like an isx. If so they will be near the filter that is leaking.

They are hard metal lines not hoses .
Looks like there rusted right thru also.
I wouldn't touch them unless you want them to leak more .
As soon as your home or can get to a shop they need replacing asap!
There is something called preventative maintenance. This should of been caught at your last MVI. But nope people leave this stuff till it breaks down on the road .GiantBeard and Fajo Thank this. -
I just had my last service 10k miles ago (4 weeks ago.) :-/
I mostly blame myself. Nothing stood out at odd until it looked like a neon orange booger was hanging off it.
