Yes agreed.. I think that if a company is going to assign you a truck like that the chances are it isn't going to get any better..
Signs of a bad company.

Unreal. Well scratch off Western Express for me then.
I'm just going to go with jim palmer and sign the 1 year contract. -
Just know Jim Palmer is owned by wil Trans out of Missouri and they pull Prime trailers and Prime loads. They get all of there trucks from prime leasing as well..

Who is it? Curious since I live in NorCal
-
Is that bad?

Perhaps not, but you do need a trainer to explain WHY you swing wide, how to complete your paperwork so you get paid on time, what to look for when you pretrip a trailer, and a host of other things. This is a skilled trade. You must learn what, where, why, and how to do things. Trial and error gets people killed. Take your trolling elsewhere.Sherm117, Kenai, Rugerfan and 1 other person Thank this.

For some yes as Prime is an issue and for others it makes no difference. it just comes down to if you were trying to stay away from the Mega Carriers. Prime has a partnership with Wil Trans which some people believe Prime owns part of them.Lightside Thanks this.

Any of the big name haulers. My advice...go with a company that offers dedicateds so you do not get too burned out and can still earn money. US Express is not a bad one and offers dedicated accounts depending where you live.Sherm117 Thanks this.

I dunno I've seen videos of people doing 4 weeks out over the road and doesn't look too bad. These were women too as well as men.
