what bad trucking habits have you acquired

Bad habit number two: rolling through stop signs and timing red lights so I don't have to push the clutch and get ice picks shoved through my left knee.

Bad habit number one: jumping off the load or deck instead of getting my ladder out.

 

Asking for a radio check after a long amount of silence... and of course asking what the coops are doing, 59 million times

 

No bashing involved. I just call it like I see it. No need to be so sensitive there tough guy.

 

I spent the night in a 'reefer because of an idiot coworker. Up at the farm, we don't have cell service, and we use reefers for cold storage. I was grabbing something for dinner and someone thought the door was left open.

9 hours later, I was mad as hell, cold as ice, and never entering that thing alone again.

 

"Just call it like I see it". The non-apology for insulting someone. Pro-tip, champ: You don't have to type every thought that comes into your head.

 

Thanks for the advice on social etiquette. I'll have to remember that for the next time some redneck feels the need to post an unsolicited picture of himself making an offensive gesture.
