Lol I hope you understood his accent and you will also notice the "Great Australian Wave" i.e. keeping those pesky flies away.

Not a roadtrain this time, but a B Train, or B Double as we call them. Brand new 2015 KW T909, gross weight with mass management 65 tonnes (143,300 lb).
    Cummins Signature 600 power.
He was loading steel yesterday at the same plant that I was.

I love B-trains, they ride good and you can back them easy. I just can't put that much weight in them here

HEY OZ! some of the trucks I see have square fuel tanks on them. do they have any trouble with (tank walk) under the strap rubber? im thinkin about doing that to mine with square tanks for more fuel capacity for the limited space I have.

He can put more on with mass management where the pay more and have to be accredited and go on specific routes. The standard GCM is 62.5 tonnes.

    mountaingote Thanks this.

All the new KWs use the square tanks here unless they are for heavy duty when they still have the round tanks. Far as I know there's no problem, except there's not much ground clearance.

    Straight Stacks Thanks this.

This side of Canada most of the states have a 105,500 limit. Utah and Nevada allow a little more, but it's kind of a hodge-podge of length and axle regulations. Trains can't go east of the Dakotas and parts of Nebraska, but some states allow big twins (48-53') on some toll roads

Straight Stacks and Ozdriver Thank this.

well that scraps that idea. ground clearance is an issue for some of the places I go.
