Take a run to the upper Midwest. The calcium chloride (or whatever that crap is they use for ice removal is called) will take it off. No elbow grease required.

Cat sdp and Cottonmouth85 Thank this.

    Bounce sheets.
Wet a Bounce sheet and it will get the bugs off, you have to rinse real good to get the residue of the Bounce sheet off .

Soap and water.... get it wet, sit, get it wet again, wait.... get it wet again... eventually it will soften up and come right off. Treat it with chrome polish or rain-x to make it easier next time.
