It's a good option. Get to test drive the truck, no truck payment for up to 5 weeks in that truck. After that there's a rental fee. If you don't like it what's on the yard might be better choices than you have at the time.
If you do want the truck don't forget that JCT pays for the first full tank of fuel. Don't be like me and bring it back full. lol

Ok, rhetorical question here...if I fuel at a mom and pop for 2.30, would that basically be like fueling at loves for 2.44 and getting the 14 cents back on your card?

    Yes....and No.

M&P you have cash to spend anywhere. Loves you have points to spend only at Loves. If you are a wise shopper points can be fine, however, most t/s products are way overpriced so you need to pay attention.

That being said, 98% of my fuel is bought at Loves.

Here is my thoughts, I agree with all you guys comments. I only use the points to eat, so, if I am fueling at loves, it makes my food tax deductible in a roundabout way. Then, we get to claim the perdeum at tax time. Maybe I have too much time to think

10.00 per thousand miles. What really sucks is that if you're in an area where the fuel average is on the high end, you really get screwed. I saw fuel as high as 2.69 on my current trip. Also, hills and mountains suck. Even in the newest trucks, that still affects mpg in a HUGE way. Then we have weight to consider. There are so many considerations when the driver is responsible for fuel.
