    I don't get it.

They will live in a 42 sq. ft. rolling box bouncing down the road with no running water, bathroom or kitchen but they have to have a $2800 per month place to live in Boston, no other town or area within a reasonable distance of Boston will do.

Oh yea, he turned down a local job that pays $30 hr according to her post, to stay at werner

    Unbelievable

What is so god ###### unbelievable? I make 1000-1700 a week at Werner.
I'm not living in some ####ty urban dump.
I've done my time in hellish ghettos. I CHOOSE not to live in areas that don't share my values. Democratic controlled urban ghettos do NOT share the same values as I.
That $30 hr job is union. ######## rules and politics go into that.
You people that believe in urban utopia are foolish. It doesn't work.
If i want to go home and take the $30 hr job i can. It's a friend of the family offering. I told that person i wanted to go out and stretch my legs after working boston my entire career to this point. They respected that.
Not paying rent and saving towards my first house for us is the goal. Can't do that paying too much in bills and taxes every month.

Any pressing reason you're staying in Mass at all? Sounds like you don't much like it.

@BostonTanker What is the long term goal? Live in the truck and save money to buy a place? Eventually work local in the Boston area? For the housing prices you've mentioned you could buy a place in a different part of the country and fly to Boston once a month to visit family and still be money ahead. Many small Midwestern towns have incentives for people to move into the area to help revive communities.

There are many ways to reach a goal. It's ok to make adjustments as long as you keep moving forward. Many people have offered you both advice and they're met with excuses. It sounds like both of you have had a rough go lately. Reading your posts it sounds like you had/have a plan and are sticking to it to a fault. I would've been out the door over the unpaid leave. Nobody deserves that. There are many companies out there. If you're not on a dedicated account for Werner it doesn't mean you've failed at executing your plan. Be flexible. Be happy. Less stress.

Best of luck to you both. Oh, I bought a 23 year old house in central South Dakota. I paid cash and it's less than one year's rent in Boston.

Working on possibly PA. There is a medical doctor there who specializes in her medical condition. There's only 5 doctors in the country that specializein her condition. 2 in boston, one in PA, one in commiefornia, and don't remember where the 5th one is.
Yes I'm trying to stick to the plan. If things don't look up, i will redo my resume, and take my 12 year spotless record and go somewhere else.

Not trying to be a dick, but if she has a rare medical condition isn't it bad to be on the road all the time away from the doctors?

Not when I have been in excellent health. I am constantly on top of my health. I have my medication with me and even have back up in case of an emergency. My doctors know I am on the road and are aware.

Not to be a dick, but as long as she takes her medicine and stays away from protein laced foods, she can and does live a normal life. Still need to be near a doctor who understands genetics and her condition. Like I said, there's only 5 in the country who specializes in it. The rest of the genetics doctors don't even know what it is. Been down that road.

I even stumped my own doctor at times when I raise questions about things I have read about my medical condition. I read all literature regarding studies and findings so I can keep myself healthy
