Upgrade time

Here's one.., when I was in training.

We were parked at the (then) east side TA (now) Peetro in "Zootario, CA" ( Ontario). We were in the back end of the lot ( east end) . I saw two guys trying to take the same spot at the same time. One guy was sight siding in and the other was blind siding in.

Ever see the pic of a stork with a frog in its mouth?

That's what I thought when I saw this happening. Both drivers looked to be determined to park in that spot.

It wasn't long before Barney Fife came along and ran off the guy who was blind siding .

 

If I'm going into an area, shipper or receiver in unfamiliar with I will always use Google maps and see a satellite view of the place. Really helps to get in and out.

 

When I went through it the longest part was waiting for a truck and getting the equipment put on, everything else was quick. Looks like they have alot more trucks out there now, hopefully you won't wait.

 

There are LOTS of trucks there. Last time I was there they had so many trucks they were spilling way over into the already cramped drop yard.
