DOT Physical Cost

    I called 8 places in the Ft Lauderdale area and got prices ranging from $65-$125. I was sure once I got there that the $65 price would creep up when "additional" tests also had to be done, but they stuck to the price.

    Today's generation? I'm only 35.

    It's a saying I heard from my grandfather and he was born in the early 1930's. I remember hearing it when I was just a little guy. My mom used to say it, too, and she's almost 60.

    Maybe it's just a Southern thing.....I was the first generation in my family to be born outside of South Carolina or Georgia. I also recall hearing things like "tan your hide", "smack you naked and hide your clothes", etc.

    that's it its a southern thing. I'm from iowa we dont have sayings like that here.just like Alabama calls pop soda pop we iowagens call it pop.
