Yikes! Those are low! I'm in the Midwest. They're still around 2.00. Thanks for sharing.flatbed1290 Thanks this.

Saw a load on ITS paying 92 cents a mile for 44000 pounds of tarped steel. 700.00 on 759 miles. Who in their right mind would go for that?
brodgers and Dominick253 Thank this. -
Omg! That's crazy!
flatbed1290 Thanks this. -
Tell me about it. I just had to call and see if that was the correct rate and the broker said "well its a quick and easy load". As if that makes it better.
-
Lol. What's quick n easy about 759 miles, 44,000 lbs, tarped?!! Unbelievable...
brodgers and flatbed1290 Thank this. -
I don't know. I guess I can give you his phone number so you can go do it and find out, lol. But seriously, I just don't get it. They have to know that there is no way that anyone can make money on rates like that. Buy apparently someone is doing it for that or they wouldn't even try
-
No thanks! Lol. But I would really love to know who does those loads and why... I can't understand it.
flatbed1290 Thanks this. -
All I know is that something is gonna have to give. It has gotten plain stupid lately. I had another broker today tell me that fuel is cheap so I should make good money on a 1.20 something a mile. Which is before the company takes its cut, so really .87 ish a mile.
-
Yeah you don't need that broker on your team. F him!
flatbed1290 Thanks this.
