Entering into Comercial Driving after 20 years Army.

I was born & raised in Robertson County and also lived in Windsor Green in Goodlettsville for awhile.
Go to any company and stay for 6 months, then switch to A&R Logistics. They have a loading facility at the rail yard in Nashville. Probably make about $65K - $72K per year there.
Home weekends also.

 

Hey Chinatown, How much would an apartment around Goodlettsville cost? I don't mean to highjack a thread, Just thought I would ask.

 

@gary bourne you have to use the @ sign like i did to you, ie: @Chinatown, so he will see that you posted that here. He's a busy, yet incredibly helpful guy, and can't possibly read every post without addressing him directly.

I havent' rented there in awhile. I lived at Lodge North which is right at Two Mile Pky & I-65 which at that time was about the best in the area. Rents have gone up since then. Some corporation bought the place and jacked the rents up to force the less than desirable renters out.
I recommend going about 10 miles North to Greenbrier and check out Green Meadows. The owner is real strict there and keeps it clean and no clutter. He's a nice guy, but if any renters start acting like an idiot, he's right on it fast. It's a nice small town and only about 30 minutes to downtown Nashville and all 4 lane. I wouldn't go any further North than Greenbrier.
