The training really isn't that bad, I just had to get myself out of my oilfield mindset and learn to park between lines lol. My trainer was great and taught me quite a few new tricks for backing.

There is never to much training. A guy like me who is truly green I will training and more training. Yes training will only get your feet "wet" for the real world.

That is true, I have 6 years experience 5 of it being in the oilfields. I've put trucks where trucks probably shouldn't have been lol. Driven in mud that was was than ice and snow and I still learn everyday. You keep that mentality you'll do great on the road.

I cringe when I hear someone say I learn everyday, when I forget more everyday.

Hah I'm sure I've forgotten quite a bit as well, but there's always a lesson everyday, may be driving, may be something else.
