No problem. Wherever you shut down for your 10 hour break is what your per diem rates are for the day.

How is it handled for Teams? I am currently in CDL training and am thinking about team driving.

I'm not a tax professional so I'm not the proper person to ask but a certified public accountant should be able to answer that question

Transportation drivers do not use the city by city, but the nationwide flat rate, which is $59.00 per day. see IRS notice 2014-57

SECTION 3. SPECIAL M&IE RATES FOR TRANSPORTATION INDUSTRY
The special M&IE rates for taxpayers in the transportation industry are $59 for any locality of travel in the continental United States (CONUS) and $65 for any locality of travel outside the continental United States (OCONUS). See section 4.04 of Rev.

Then you don't understand what perdiem for transportation workers is. Hotel rooms are NOT part of it. They are a separate deduction.
