Wow, I'm surprised to hear that, I know Dionne is a good dispatcher and I know a guy that drives for Classic and is an O/O, Rob M. has been driving for them for at least 10 years OR more, I guess far as trucking outfits go, They're probably as good as the rest of them, he's really liked running for them.

During the 10 years that I operated as an O/O, I wished I had a dollar for every hour I laid in N.J. waiting on a load and many times I deadheaded home to Va. when I was facing the week-end.

We're not perfect. We admit to that day one of orientation. While I don't know the specifics for owner operators who were not happy with us I can say that our turnover rate in 2016 is 9% in an industry that averages a turnover of 80 to 90% so the vast majority of our owner operators and company drivers are happy. Jim our owner goes above and beyond to take care of the drivers because as a former driver himself he understands what they deal with. Again we're sorry to hear some of drivers have left unhappy and we wish them nothing but the best.

Sorry! We are going to start using this site and responding more so we apologize in the delay since we haven't been keeping up with the forum the past year or so!

No we weren't tagged in the post directly so we only found it by searching "classic carriers" in the search bar. We plan on doing that more frequently to make sure we're responding faster to posts about (both good and bad!)

In your case the dispatcher has the power to decide if you are successful or not, I don't get it. Sell the truck, why have the liability and risk if you are going to act like a company driver.
