I have a 06 International 9200i with an isx435st. My problem when I let the truck idle the temperature rises to 205. Going down the road its between 175-185. What could be causing the temperature to rise so high at idle

No air flowing constantly thru the radiator. Thermostats. Water pump not moving enough coolant. I can throw rocks all day.

Probably no air thru radiator. As long as the fan comes on at 205 you're ok

We have an 07 9200i that was doing that too, it's a pretty small radiator and not much room under the hood. The fan clutch crapped out on us and we replaced it with a 2 speed fan that helped a lot. Seems to run about 190 at idle now.

I'd make sure that the radiator is clean, it's doesn't take much dirt/bugs in them to cause problems with such a small radiator.
