Akron Ohio. It doesn't matter really. I am single and I don't need much home time. For the right company I would just move near the yard.

Well sorry bud dont know too much about Ohio companies I mainly stuck to Iowa and Missouri. ( Just realized that btw lol .. #### midwest lol )
In case your not aware many companies and those your probably looking at are putting cameras in the trucks and while I disagree with a company camera especially driver facing with mic in an OTR truck I do agree they will save your hind and its worth the $100 or so bucks for your own.
Good luck on your hunt if I hear anything ill send it your way. -
What are the driver facing cameras for?
-
To cover the companies hind .. its a load of bs they claim its for the driver its really to insure that they dont lose in court and payout quickly in the event of an idiot.
-
So they look at your face if there is an accident?
-
Well for me they are for when a company wants me to quit, lol.
-
It seems to me a forward facing camera would be better if there was a wreak.
ethos Thanks this. -
In have my own dashcam. I agree those have validity.
-
Its just an invasion of privacy issue, I am all for forward facing but I dont agree with Mic and Driver Facing in OTR. Makes me want to slip into their home and put a camera in their bedroom.
-
What are they looking for with driver facing? Parties? You know dispatchers aren't gonna care what you do. Are they looking for people drinking whiskey or what?
