Taking the grey dog out to Memphis today

Since my Eagle lease went to hell in a hand basket, and Profleet said I need more experience before they will sign me up, My backup was to go with builders. So im catching the bus in Lima, Ohio and rolling 19 freaking hours out to Memphis. They got me staying at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Southaven Ms. Thats cool with me, one of my best friends lives right there in Southaven.

 

I remember why i hate taking the bus, 3 hr layovers are horrible. Even more horrible when the bus station is closed the entire time your there

 

Got here in memphis sunday morning around 11am. Settled in at the hotel and called my buddy up. Haven't seen him in 10yrs since we both served together in the navy. Just ate breakfast at the hotel and heading off to day one. My roommate is a former builders driver, said that he would be on the road by Tuesday, the rest Friday, but said ain't much to way about.
