    This industry more than most pays based on experience and qualifications. A guy starting at 18 will have a ton of experience at an early age and likely will be in the higher paid areas at an early age also.

    OP seems to be on the right track IMO.

    yep , I learned when I was 15 or so , my uncle taught me , and by the time I was 18 and a senior in high school I was dragging a 40 ft tanker of raw milk from Max Meadows Va. to High Point NC a couple times a week...that was back when Fancy Gap was the only over that hill, on hwy 52...

    I was 20 when I got my cdl. Had hard time looking for local driving jobs. After I turned 21, hired at fedex freight pulling doubles. I know you guys gonna be posting about how dumb we are but I know what I'm more dealing with. Swift and Slow Prime
