for the mention... I do see western stars on a daily basis. Macks are out there but I seem to be one that rarely notices them until they're parked in front of my face.

when is harvest time for growers in your area. can you get your feet wet there ? are there any farmers in the area that offer some type of trucking service. Truck stops and web sites such as indeed.com, craigslist and the like have leads at the very least.

From what I've seen Southern Arizona is mostly cotton they just harvested it last month and I've seen a couple of super tall hoppers but I didn't catch the name of them.

I've picked up hay in the areas where cotton is grown. Are there any other crops? hay was out on the north 240 z lot. about 10 miles from the scale house.

You can either save up your receipts and pack a mountain of trash in to the tax man. Plus, all that evidence your packing around for the cops to look at when they want to see your log book.

Or, you can use per diem.

You can't use both. And since per diem amounts to more money then you'll spend in food. I throw away all my store receipts.

There's a personal allowance the IRS gives. TO EVERYONE in the country. YOU have to spend more then that allowance in order to use receipts for deductions. Last year it was $8500 ( i think it was ) and i know NONE of us spend $8500 throughout the year.

I haven't even been able to deduct my cell phone, my car payments, and the miles commuted to home and back. (Which is 190 miles every weekend.) For the last 3 years.

This will be my 5th tax season, Per Diem is all I've been using. It's all my bro in law has used.
