I have a 2005, I have been having a issue with the cluster once I'm starting the truck the needles don't swipe initially and the digital part of the cluster, doesn't show the mileage or volts, once started a few seconds go by, then is when the needles swipe and works as normal. any ideas?

check your battery terminals. make sure that they're clean and making good contact. I'm not saying that this is the culprit, but only that it's a good first step to rule out. I used to have a similar problem. One of my instrument needles would be a little jumpy or not swipe when I turned the key on. Didn't know much about trucks then, so I took it to the dealer. All they did was clean and tighten a connection to one of the batteries, and charged me $300. :/ .....yeah, that happened. (lol) Anyway, a loose and/or dirty battery connection manifested itself as a faulty instrument cluster. Of course, once your truck gets going (more amps, volts, etc) everything will behave fine.
