Firespock on with QC as L/P IC

I've heard first hand that DB are good guys, but that QC is questionable.....to many variables....terminal, dispatch, garbage trailers, wash-outs.....etc!!! If you get a dedicated route, that seems to be the best with QC. Got everything approved, and talked to Dan a few times. I was a plane ride away from getting a DB truck, luckily I don't have to drive if I don't want to. But I'd rather drive a sweet custom rig than drive for a company in some cookie cutter rig governed at 62mph.....

 

What exactly do you want to know... This is my ride... Dan built it.

Take home for the week bottom left, ytd on the right... I started Sept 23rd. And yes that's money that has been deposited in my account.
qc does 62% of line haul, 62% of demurage and detention.
They do a fuel stability program to maintain fuel at a 1.25 a gallon... I don't agree with it... But it is what it is.
I'm making money here, some are not. I believe that the terminal you get can make you or break you.
Every terminal is independent except for three that are quality owned. My terminal is all owner ops. Most are not and have union drivers and there own lease trucks plus db trucks and owner ops. Anything you want to know, just ask.

The President of QC posted on Facebook our business is down approx 30% this quarter. The low oil prices and strong dollar making it cheaper to import chemicals as the reason.

 

I'm out of beaumont tx... Very hard terminal to get on with. Very small terminal as well.

 

Not surprised... Had a great October, then it's tapered off. Not horrible, but not the best.
