Anyone know of any tanker companies willing to hire an old (68),retired driver?I have years of accident-free,all-weather,all state, mountain,Canadian, big city driving experience.Several years owner operator, several driving commendations. Not too concerned with the pay,as I have planned and budgeted for my retirement and doing OK.Just like to get back on the road, preferably food grade, not too long out at a time.
Thanks.
Old driver ,new job

Where you live will make a difference...what part of the country do you live in?

I'm in Florida.Worked for Jim Aartman before they were absorbed by Ruan. Also worked for Rodgers out of Jacksonville hauling chemicals. There are plenty of tanker outfits in FL,but most are reluctant to hire an old guy. They don't state that outright, but it's pretty easy to read between the lines.

Well if you were in TX I could point you in the right direction, I know a small outfit there that could use some help. However I don't know of anything in FL. You might reach out to a guy on here called Chinatown. He seems to be a directory of carriers and will likely know a place to start looking. Good luck, driver.
