Bob, some of us are concerned only wit the rate i get, if I am happy it matters not what you got. Some simply don't know their costs.

I know a few drivers who run under a lg co authority but do their own thing getting there own loads. that is not unusual. I like to hear people doing their own thing & doing well, despite what someone else may think. 1 of our leased drivers who is home daily 180 miles from ship to rec.very lil empty miles 180 miles return load & then 20 mile back to original ship to do it again next day.his gross as of 2 weeks ago was $162,000 mine was not that much, but I don't want to work as much, but I do well even leased.

1 of our drivers asked me why do I not take loads that he takes into ms & back for $200 more per day than what I am doing now for no more miles? I told him I don't know why I don't take those loads. he told me... cause your stupid that's why. Man I couldn't stop laughing. told him your right, but I like the i-65 lane. I have about 3 miles total off the interstate. it's my thing. maybe jan of 2016 I will run a lil more lanes. expecting a new baby on the way. his name is reitnouer.

Most have no clue as to what their costs to operate are. Which is sad.

Remember that the next time a load has to get covered to keep your customer happy and a guy won't touch it for less than several hundred dollars more than you got in it. the answer to why we make you beak out the check book is very simple.
    Because we can.

I don't have a problem giving a load or loads back to a shipper because they are too cheap...... But on the other hand there are so many trucks looking for loads, someone will take it. Remember that immigrants are flooding the truck side along with all the trucks leaving the oil patches.

Don't forget rednecks and hillbillies. Rednecks and hillbillies are just as bad as immigrants and ex oil field workers.

*this is a joke anyone that knows me will get it*
