Personally I think that it should be against the law for next day delivery . Would slow the whole process down and make the roads A LOT safer for everybody !!

 

How could such a law be made? There are a lot of safe ways next day deliveries are made.

 

Hey, I drive for fedex freight, pulling doubles around pa. We haul freight. I've seen most service centers are like that. Especially at pocono. They never had reconstruction yet around the yard and the dock itself.

 

You really are man. The thing is, Amazon is the way of the future. I love being able to order archaic equipment and tools and have them at my house in two days. When I had a fitting for one of my aquarium filters break and spew water everywhere, it took 1.5 days for the new parts to arrive. That's some back to the future stuff.

 

Thanks. I don't know what's gonna happen with my fellow delivery brothers (UPS and FedEx) when Amazon gets their own, because it appears we're gonna be the only delivery service for them in the future.

 

It's definitely gonna be interesting to see what happens with all that. Amazon better poach some talent from those guys or they might just end up in over their heads trying to run a trucking company.

Well the postal service is not much better.
My sister in law sent me some things in Nov. got tracked to the JFK airport arriving Nov. 25th.. Never arrived to my mailing address after 2 weeks. So I place a replacement order with my brother in law. He sends it and one week later it arrives, oh so did the first shipment that was sent 3 weeks prior...
