What has to be done?

Looks like the bushings need replaced.
Day or two maybe? Kinda hard to tell. Looks like a lack of maintenence -
Ohk, cool. Yea I just got the motor rebuilt and haven't had a chance to clean the oil off.
-
Bushings look VERY dry. Prolly need new ones and keep them greased !!!!!
oilfield driver j Thanks this. -
I would try putting a little heat on them and see if they will take grease. Or take the grease gun with you and after you put some miles on for the day. See if they will take some grease.
KAK Thanks this. -
Grease is cheap. Those bushings look like they're in desperate need of it.

Also the popping is your leaf spring coming out of alignment. Have a welding shop put a C clamp on edges to straighten, then wrap with steel band.
Or. Two flat pieces of steel drill two holes on each end of steel, put bolts on either side of leaf spring and squeeze together. So one plate below leaf one above.
The stock factory leaf spring guids wear out or just fall off.Ozdriver Thanks this. -
If its a threaded pin and bushing type you can change it in a hour, but this one kind of looks like a regular bushing or a Horton needle bearing set up, still would take about an hour per pin. I like the threaded pin/bushing type (KW) can hammer them out and in, all 6 in 5 hours.
