Nope... Bond wasn't a problem for me. Just so you know mine isn't with the low rent Pacific Financial. Mine is with RLI Surety. Gotta have a strong business and personal financial profile to be underwritten by RLI Surety.

 

If You really,really love this industry and carrier, You will find a way to overcome obstacles either being O/O or company hand again.Sometimes to go forward we need to take step back ...

 

Thanks for the response, double yellow. I've followed your and few others' threads and can't tell you how much I appreciate the time and effort y'all have put into them to share the information that you have.

 

Most of the big boys have 3 trailers per truck, how is a small fleet owner going to spot trailers all over the country.

IMO the key is specialization. Dry van is a mega fleets game. You are capable of far more.

 

I second that. Double Yellow should publish this thread and sell it at truck stops. He'd probably make a killing.
