Lepton1 Thanks this.

Yes they still require it. I was told the same thing by a recruiter. You go through their flatbed training (not sure about van) and sign a contract stating you will complete 75,000 miles with Roehl. I guess they had a lot of people quitting after 3-6 months. Lot of companies seem to be doing this nowadays because training costs them time and money. If you are "laid off" for something then I don't think you have to pay it back.

I repeatedly asked for miles when I first signed up I was told I would get between 2200 to 2500 miles and still be able to go home every weekend..each time I complained they said i have to go national to get more miles that I was assigned to 2050 fleet but only averaged 1600 or so miles a week

I highly doubt Roehl is going to let you run until 74,999 miles and fire you so they can collect $3100. lol
It costs them a lot more for that truck to sit idle.
Besides do some research and you will find very little negative press about Roehl. That alone tells you they are a good company. -

Redtwin voiced concern, not you.

Yup, and they can't be *that* good if they need those contracts to keep employees from leaving.

Yeah I would suggest avoiding Roehl.
