Schneider said I'd have to go back for forty hrs. Are there any that would let me go with a trainer?

40hrs is no time at all, I'd take it after 6 years out. It is the insurance companies dictating the hiring policies so I don't think you will find a company that doesn't require a period of re-training less than Schneider.

Try PTL there in Murray Kentucky they are usually okay with sending you with a trainer when I was there they took a guy with a little more time out than you never hurt to try.

Forty hours is nothing. Some guy at Western Express put his foot down and said I'm not doing it after he past the road test they let him go in his own truck after being out for 8 years.

    Freymiller might do that.
