Sadly they can do something like that legally.

    Driver facing camera.

2mo later make it against company policy to talk on cell phone while driving anybody caught gets the boot.
Not exactly the same but perfectly legal.

A couple years ago, my buddy used to have fun using a signal blocker. He bought the thing off that Silk Road thing, with bitcoin.

In any case. If we could use them for entertainment, a company can definitely use them for policy.
    (Hilarious in Internet cafés.)

Think Walmart who thinks they're above the law anyway wouldn't do this? Or England?

Maybe I can't imagine their legal department wouldn't put a stop to something like that.

How many trucks do they have?
That guy from Florida (link above) got a $48k fine.
    It's just one guy.

Walmart is the biggest in house transportation company there is, with a team of attorneys and jets and very deep pockets. They always get what they want, they have many legislators in their pockets. I agree with you that it's totally illegal and most wouldn't risk the fines and legal actions, but a corporation like Walmart who does think they're above the law will throw their weight around.
