LTL doesnt do walmart, not in my world...
A city LTL might have 15 stops, so, not sure from what planet you hail!! lol -
Heartland isn't a OTR big mile carrier. They bill themselves as a regional carrier so you are surprised they have loads of 250-450 miles?
reefer75 Thanks this. -
yea but LTL he gets paid for all that time on the loading dock drives the same shift most times and gets overtime and maybe a pension
-
from what I here all dry van is this way anymore cuz of good ol jb and the rails. what im surprised about is the loose appt windows and the less than 2000 miles a week several weeks
-
LTL doesn't do Wal Mart? Hmmmmm.....what were those YRC, R&L, Central Transport trucks doing backed up to the docks, when I was dropping storage trailers?
BTW, Planet Earth..... -
Wierd, must be some crazy crossdock insanity
Here, Ive never seen that...worked for r&l and central here, we didnt service wallymart, they still dont....only walmart and cr england backed up there..
Obviously Im not hip on global freight flow..doh!!
I stand corrected -
Humm, maby I forgot the meaning? but I picked up garlic in Orlando every other week and headed up the east coast and would have 7 to 10 stops wallyworld, stop and shop, market basket and others in the same trailer..Is this not called less then load?
