Probably one of these illiterate hillbillies out here that not only cannot spell but reads even worse. Like the idiots that sometimes ask for help reading a scale ticket.... I love messing with those guys ;)

I wouldn't say it's the hillbillies that are the illiterate ones.

Doesn't having a bad heart disqualify a driver?

If you've had a heart attack or cardiac bypass in the last 5 years, you must take and pass a treadmill stress test every year to be issued a new medical card. Also, as of Dec. 22, the medical form you fill out before your physical has been changed (see story in Landline magazine.

Jb hunts policy is that if you have not had a good nights sleep due too circumstances like yours . You are to call out . Its against company policy to drive fatiugued if what your dispatcher is doing is true he is in violation of company policy .

In your situation.... You should have pulled over and got some sleep! JB Hunt dispatchers cannot force you to drive if it will cause a serious accident later on. Remember it is your license and life on the line if anything were to happen, not theirs! If they want to reprimand & punish you, let them! You just make sure you hit them back with a law suit!

So now we're all English majors? The Petro school of punctuation? :D
A dispatcher or load planner does not give a crap about you, just the load in the box. You are in control of the vehicle and it is always your call. I have never had a safety dept not back me up on this.
