Why do 80% of drivers dress like bums?

Lot of us do that already... Gets really difficult when you're standing nearby the guy who is proudly displaying to your eyes, nose and ears what he's been eating for the last week

Lost count of the number of times somebody left no stench, sight or sound to the imagination.

Can only ignore so much. You know?

 

I guess I should of been more clear.
There is a definite shortage of good drivers. If you want to call those steering wheel holders straight outta school (if you can call that school) drivers then we are in a down hill spiral my friends.
And if you can call making good money at anyone of those Maga fleets you must be used to your paper route when you were still a kid.
Sadly if you figured out your pay by the hour you'd be better off at mcdonalds

I dropped in Riverside on Friday night and dispatch doesn't have a load for me until 1030hrs Monday morning in LA. Getting a 34 hour reset in at the TA in Ontario, CA

 

More than likely I would pass him up. Its not hard to stay clean and I have a hard time believing someone who can't be bothered to keep themselves decently clean would treat a truck any better. I've climbed into some daycab trucks and filled 2 garbage cans worth of garbage off the floors and from behind the seats. Its disgusting.

 

Ha ha, I get $18 an hour with ot after 40. Make 50k a year, got this job straight out of school. Please give me a list of mcdonalds that pay better so I can start filling out my apps

 

Well smell is disgusting, but if someone wants to wear flip flops old sweat pants and a tank top why should you or I care?

 

Do we need scratch and sniff jeans to try and impress?

 

when kb had local drivers,tne head dispatcher told one driver he was going to start charging him 25.00 if drivers have to clean up his messes.he didn't look the part but he was a true certified slob.but that worked,from then on he took care of his messes.
