That's where you're wrong. It does affect me. When I smell you it affects me. When I'm on the phone with a shipper and they're picturing me looking like you it affects me.
You should be wearing boots anyway. Children wear tennis shoes. And buy a new pair every year.

Do you wear cowboy boots? I've thought of getting a cowboy costume too.

I wear work boots because I'm working. If I were to ever play tennis I'd wear tennis shoes. I can tell you this though; they'd never be close to being worn to the point where they are in danger of developing a hole. I dress so that if I see one of my mothers friends at the grocery she would be proud of me and my mother's been dead nine years.

Well clearly reading comprehension is not your strong point. I shower daily, no smell. My old boots and untucked shirt have no effect on you. Some of us don't sit on our ### all day. I do a lot of lifting and carrying, shirt would come untucked anyway. Buying work boots or shoes every few months would be wasteful, they get messed up in a couple days anyway, we don't all go to docks you know. You unload in the mud at a construction site and tell me about your nice new clean clothes and shoes after your done.

I drive flatbed and meant no offense. I don't know you as far as I know you're very clean. But you know who I'm talking about.

One thing I've noticed is that this filth you see on some truckers seems to be a symptom of laziness and those guys are always toting a van. For the most part flatbed guys are put together.

True enough, but being a smelly slob, and wearing old clothes because you will get them dirty at work are 2 differant things. You can't group all drivers in old clothes and shoes together.

I ware short's and t shirts normally, lets face it we sit in a climate controlled truck all day. I am going to be comfortable doing it for 11 hours. Now when I interact with shippers or cons I dress decent, otherwise if im spending the next 11 hours driving its bum out time.
