I live in warrior, AL. So yeah Big G hires in Alabama. You will run your butt off so no sitting here but I have been to one shipper/receiver that I absolutely hope I never go to again. That's any company though. I averaged around 2600 - 2800 but it varies.

Hey I found out they hire out of Alabama sometimes I live in Phenix City a rock throw from Columbus,GA, About 1hr 48 min from Atlanta wonder would that work for them I want to run 27 days out at first to see how that works out with 2-3 days home and if everything works step up to months out with 2-4 home if possible.They have a rider policy i think someone posted so my wife could be with me on the longer time out she loves to see the sites and all of our kids are grown so,it like having icing on the cake if you know what I mean.

 

That's how I run 10 then gone. Some loads are too tight for one driver to make legally so they have you run it as hard as you can legally and get you to meet another driver along the route and swap. Done that a few times. Got paid 25 bucks extra each time. Sweet deal in my opinion. They are a good company but you will still have shippers and receivers that will screw up your plans. I love doing the Jack Daniels loads myself. Get alot of those. Mostly drop and hook or deliver to a liquor warehouse. There is a place near Decatur that makes the barrels for jack Daniels. Been there a lot and a place in north Alabama that makes refrigerators.

 

I enjoy my weekends home. But you can stay out if you want.yeah they have a rider policy. Forgot the price for it. Don't have the details on hand. I know spouse is fine.

I did a breakdown from my 1st load pulled on 8/25 thru 12/31. 49850 paid miles. Worked 110 days. 103 loads. Averaged 453.18 paid miles per day worked. Average load length was 483.98. Took 18 days off during that period and also the 1st 3 days of January. Works out to approx 2700 paid miles per week.

Load Length Breakdown:

(1-250) 25 loads

(251-500) 30 loads

(501-750) 25 loads

(751-1000) 21 loads

(1001-1250) 2 loads

Nothing any longer.
