This thread sure fizzled out.

 

Not much to say on the subject. When it comes to driving a truck you can either do the job, or you can't. Gender is pretty much irrelevant. It also doesn't help when the op is a one hit wonder. We sort of had to make things up since we weren't really given any information. Many of us are very good at using our imaginations.

 

I always give women favorable treatment.

 

Umm, I served four years as an active duty Marine. All I know in life is how to get screwed by the big green weenie. So yeah. I love trucking because I get screwed everyday. Haha.

I'm still kind of a rookie in my own right and I'm late, but here's what I get. Apparently she may just be one of those "new wave feminists" who still blames everything on the males seeing as trucking is a so-called "male dominated industry." But that's the problem. Even the men whine but still like everyone here I say "If you can't handle the job, don't do it. Leave it to someone else who can." There is always going to be something about any job in the world that no one is truly happy about. I wish my DAC wasn't in trucker's hell so I could still be an OTR driver for more refutable companies. Oh well. See ya in seven years. Even in my short time and the many jobs that I've held, I've hardly seen any discrimination of any kind against the female set. IF in fact you were discriminated against in any way there's hotlines that will gladly take your case. My cousin was a trucker and the only reason she gave it up was that her back took some damage. I'm sorry if I offend, but if you're going to boast in the bad trucking company section, please elaborate and make sure it's good instead of wasting time typing and not backing up your claims. @pattyj and @Billy Manson thank you for showing us what it truly means to a female trucker and I totally agree. There are some strong women in our industry and I am blessed to be among them every time I drive. @BIF MALIBU I agree totally. I wish the OP so much luck in doing so. She still has to prove her point.

 

I kind of sort of gave up on this thread I don't remember what I said lol.the op hasn't been back so I take that as another female looking for attention so she wants to make the men look bad or the industry.me being a female in this industry since 2002 no matter what she says I'll take with a grain of salt.

 

Hi Patty. I'm leaving this one behind too after this post. But I wanted to thank all of the strong females in this industry that aren't swayed by dumb B/S that people like the OP try to stir up. Again. I thank you and all of the females in this industry for your service. Y'all do make men look bad but in another way. LOL! May the Gear Jamming Gods keep speeding your way on forward.
