I could give a long list of the things they do that make shake my head.

 

I have to correct you we pay social security as a sole proprietor its based on total income but with an llc we pay just like you out of payroll taxes based off what we pay ourselves just like you do

.The difference is filing as anLLC with S corp election we dont pay business federal tax. Only requirement is we must pay ourselves a salary. All profits after salary gets passed to its share holders as non taxable income i.e us.

Also with a LLC we can get a 401k its called self directed 401k.

Unemployment insurance is paid quarterly and is paid with taxes a requirement depending on your state. We dont plan on being laid off either we own the truck.

As for Workmans comp its only 50.00 more a month. The only thing you might have something with is insurance I pay 150 a week for family that exceeds most companies insurance through USAA.

 

And another food for thought you are actually paying the same stuff we are paying but you dont own the equipment.

You think the employer pays out of his pocket and will take the loss for your benefits? He pays you an average wage and the remainder of that load goes to pay for his truck, his portion of your health insurance, his portion of your taxes and whats left after your hard work instead of it going into your pocket it goes into his.

And if you get a per diem every week dont think that is to benefit you. Those tax free monies you get lower his tax burden on you, makes you pay less into ss, you cant claim it as a deduction because the employer already did, so ultimately you even end up paying more in taxes.

So go a head brag about your benefits that was paid for by 100% of your hard work.
