I see trucks going in to the car parking quite often, this time they cost their company $10,000(not a guess info from manager) I just don't understand how stupid some drivers are.
If you can't find the truck parking at a Petro..

I dont want to know exactly how it happened but that's pretty darn rusty, may as well throw in a new light pole.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
With signs clear and large that say "cars and Rv's only" and you see them constantly. The truck stops that don't control this, and most don't are inviting not only damage to their property but to the non trucking clientele they are so hot to attract. I don't understand why they don't control their parking lots, all of them.

Probably half the Walmarts of the world have to have guards in white pickups with flashing yellow lights to keep things in order in their parking lots. One would think that it would be totally unnecessary there also. But those same incompetent drivers who tore down the light also invade Walmart parking lots. I saw a Southern Refrigerated clobber the yellow 13' tall yellow overhead sign NO TRUCKS.
As long as the business model of mega carriers is to utilize poorly paid, untrained, inexperienced drivers in large numbers, the places they might go have to protect themselves.ramblingman, Al. Roper, Ougigoug and 2 others Thank this. -
Sometimes knocking down a sign is a good stress reliever.
One time in Nashville I left a "No Exit" sign and about 50 ft. of hedge and tulips sprinkled down the street for about 50 yards. It was quite the adrenalin rush and kept me awake all night driving and making good time. Cranked up the Bill Mack Truckin' Radio Show and sipped on fresh coffee and maxed out the driving hours.kemosabi49, scottied67, Lucy in the Sky and 12 others Thank this. -
Lol, I don't think I've ever gone that far, but I have had a few instances myself driving a flatbed hauling sod. You get put in some crazy situations hauling sod straight off in the middle of the ghetto in Nashville. Not far from home for me.Chinatown Thanks this.

I'm from Robertson County and also lived in Goodlettsville in Windsor Green. Got tired of it and moved to Vegas!
