Had a load picking up there as "emergency" and customer required a receipt of a trailer wash out. I found this out after I booked the load, and money was too good to turn it down. There was a truck wash 4 miles away from the customer that was waiting late night.

Thiswas a weird small town! When I say weird, it reminded me of that movie Pleasantville!

There is a Abbyland Truck Stop
219 Plaza Dr, Curtiss, WI 54422

The parking is easy to get to. Nice place to eat across the street. Food inside the truck stop, the food to go, was really great and the workers were very nice! The trailer washout/truck wash is the building down the street. I got into the bay, and was informed where to go to pay. Once I came back with my receipt the wash boys were washing my truck and trailer. I thought they misunderstood me! NO! They simply said they got nothing better to do at the time and might as well be active and wash my truck. I was in a rush and made them stop.

I can't wait to have another reason to stop at that place again! Great people!

It's pretty much a company town. The s hi op/wash bay/truckstop are all own by Abbeyland foods. And I can't think of a time when I've had a problem there. Great people

Lived in Wisconsin for a while. While not perfect, this sort of thing wasn't uncommon really. I'd move back in a heartbeat, cold weather and all, if in a slightly different life circumstance.
Don't get sent up that way nearly as much as I'd like.

    Picked up there once.

Got a washout at their shop across the street from the TS.
They were really nice and got me loaded pretty quickly.
If they only knew how to add.

    Bwbibb and scottlav46 Thank this.

Never get there anymore, sad to say. Pleasant memories about the place.

I run across their trucks on occasion.
