SAY NO TO CHEAP FREIGHT, PEOPLE!!!

Sometimes someone else got the load,other than Landstar, or hopefully rate was negotiated . But yeah, even my Landstar board is getting sad

 

Only if I was heading home after getting 4/mile going out.....

Things are just tough right now everywhere. We just have to maintain till it gets good again. And it will!

 

Grants for immigrants
My self I am an immigrant I don't get any grants from gov for the truck or business
I worked hard 2 years as a company driver
To get my truck
Now I am an o/o with my own Authority
So all the people who are saying immigrants get grants I don't know where the hear that from
Cheap freight
Call on some loads they were offering
1.18 cent/mile 2950 miles
When I ask why 1.18 /mile on the reefer
The guy says I have some carriers who can do that for that much
So ask him then why the load is posted
He says might get some one cheaper then those I told him good luck with that and hung up
After 5 min the load was gone
So there are people how haul for that much
I am wondering how they afford their expenses
I my self with reefer don't run under 2/mile
In winter
Summer 2.50 to 2.80
I hope I'll find some thing good tomorrow which pays above 2/mile

 

At 1.00 a mile on 6,000 miles a week that's $6,000. 4 weeks a month thats $24,000 and for 12 months thats $288,000 a year. You guys are greedy to ask for more just to drive a vehicle and visit all over the country.

 

If you can pay the bills who cares what the rate is

Well, yeah, some people are definitely that stupid and there's one right there! He couldn't drive 6K miles a week if his life depended on it and I think he just posted that to piss people off. I don't pay no mind to grackles or squawking magpies, even when they can type.
