What kind of truck did you get? Also not sure if this was asked but does the Truck have driver facing cameras?
-
I got a 2013 pete, and yes they have cameras but it seems like they dont work because ive never tripped it and i had some hard braking and some swervi g, the guy that had the truck before me put a piece of black tape on the camera lens and i didnt remove it and the company hasnt said anything to me about it.

I know I asked you about training already but how long was the total training process?
-
Its all on the student it can be as soon as 6 weeks or as much as 8 are you fresh out of school ?
-
No I got my CDL a couple summers ago but did not go right into trucking based on some inaccurate information I received from a couple drivers that I took as truth.

Well anything you want to know i will be more than happy to answer any questions you have based on my experience. One thing i can tell you its not easy and thiers more to it then just driving a truck, but i enjoy what i do so imma stick around for a cupple years.NewTrucker7 Thanks this.

Trying to figure out where to start my driving career. Hopefully will graduate in a month. Came across your post researching FREYMILLER. Do you know if they're hiring in the Baltimore area. And, what is your starting cpm. Thanks.
-
No. Freymiller is NOT a starter company. Its a "big boy" company. That means you have to put your big boy pants on and SHOW them that you can run.
They will run you HARD! If you have shown that your worthy.
Pay is very comparable to other reefer companies. Yes, we have cameras in the trucks. No biggie. We are also the slowest trucks on the road, while pulling hills. We usually haul gross weight,or dancing right around it. -
This week i did 3100 miles not to bad this is me first week that i run solo just upgraded 2 weeks ago.Ssand Man Thanks this.
