IFTA sticker question

Well you have temp license correct?
Tape copy in the windshield.. I've done that.
Now for the Ifta, you say you got it logged into the system, but no sticker yet? Does it still have old sticker from previous company on it.. Hint hint. just carry your paper copy of the Ifta with the trk. papers and haul donkey to Chicago and back..

Some Jurisdictions will allow you to do this online. I believe, your Carrier will need to be previously setup with the State to do this one-stop shopping.

 

Red is good until March, I believe it is. There is a grace period

 

IFTA 2015 is good until February 29th 2016, which equals a (2) two month grace period.

 

When I went through orientation, there was another o/o there. He didn't want to tape the temp cab card in the window. He got pulled in a MOscale because they didn't see a plate. After he got an inspection that netted him 75 points, the scale master asked him "why didn't you tape the temp to the window?"

You are golden. You have a temporary plate, IFTA permit, and despite not having stickers, you are in the grace period when you will not be harassed. Green light for you!

 

This. Go to your online Ifta account, print a copy of license and a permit valid for 30 days. Get rolling

 

I just asked the scale master this question in CO. According to him if you don't have the 2016 sticker attached by 02/01/16 your going to be pulled in by them.

Just thought I would add this in sense this is what I was told from the horses mouth.

 

+1 to what passing thru, bean JR and boneebone said. The grace period is in effect on the 2015 stickers. I haven't put my 2016 on yet.
