You have a pretty good gig, yourself. Holland drivers get paid.
I know you gave up some but still better than over 90% of all trucking jobs out there.

    Honch Thanks this.

Yeah our recent contract gave up 15% of our wage to YRC since they bought us out. Our fearless leaders are bustin' out about 1/3 of the freight we do...

But yeah, I came to Holland from one of those 90% places... glad to be where I'm at, despite the minor pitfalls.

Only jobs that pay more than UPS's feeder driver position is probably food service. Mclane drivers are none to make over $120k. There was a recent post where the OP mentioned Domino's distribution making $140k. Walmart is none to make over $100k. USPS has drivers making over $100k. And the various LTL companies out there.

The only ups driver making less than $135,000 a year isn't working his hours. 80cents plus for mileage, $35 plus an hour straight time, $50 plus an hour OT, that said I still wouldn't go back to night work for $135,000 plus a year, but money is not my #1 priority any more,

Worked at UPS myself. Hated the work environment. I'm working at USPS and the pay is just as good. $30 an hour, $32 at night. Should go up to $34- $36 when arbitration is over. $45-47 OT after 8.$60-64 after 10 hours. $40 on Sunday, $80 after 10.

Happiness is much more important than a large w-2, in my opinion. But there is good life after Buster Brown! Some weeks it even pays as good or better but it really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of life.
